The MTC database uses
very little RAM. There are no specific requirements for it.

File
system
The 10-piece
database must be installed on a hard drive that is formatted with the NTFS
file system. This is the norm for almost all PC internal hard drives, but some
external hard drives are formatted as FAT32. You can view the type of file
system of your hard drive using Properties command in Windows Explorer. If the
drive that you intend to use for the database is FAT32 you can use a Windows
convert utility to change it to NTFS. You may do an internet search for
"convert FAT32 to NTFS" and you will find some information at the Microsoft
web site that explains how to do this.

CheckerBoard against the latest versions that are available on the web, and
update if your versions are not the latest. For example: Version 1.17 of KingsRow has

This
has nothing to do with the above, but if you are interested in downloading a
good checker program for you hand device (smart phone, tablet, notebook, etc.)
and the OS (operating system) is Android, then you can’t do better than CT211
(Checkers Tutor 2.11) it’s not listed with Google Play but you can Google
“Checkers Tutor 2.11” and get if free or pay the $.99 for the download, it’s
the same program. You need a Google account. There are 3 basic OS offered for
small hand devices: Google has Android, Microsoft has Windows 10, and Apple
has iOS. Apple’s ipad (their tablet) seems to do everything except have a
good checker program available. Newer tablets are coming with Windows 10
operating system which means you can download a slim “checkerboard.”
